British and American troops in Afghanistan have been running to raise funds for charities on both sides of the Atlantic. A coalition 10k was run through Camp Leatherneck, the American base next to Camp Bastion. The event was organised by both American and British personnel in order to support the Wounded Warrior Project and the Army Benevolent Fund. The race was won by US Officer Captain Adam Crandal who managed a time of 35 minutes 52 seconds.
