Use DHNhIT4 89 ゥ N (0x74) to obtain the 0xFF PP value without PP underflow glitch (Pokémon Yellow)
This video is based on TheZZAZZGlitch's recent finds, specifically how DHNhIT4 89 ゥ N adds PP to a Pokémon with a PP Up applied. • Pokémon Yellow - glitch items: the de...
I noticed that you can actually get up to 63 PP with three PP Ups applied this way (the maximum value FF). Outside of the novelty of having very high PP, this is quite useful for three glitches that require large PP IDs:
1. LWA "Lucky Wins Again" named after luckytyphlosion who discovered it
2. Large storage box byte shift glitch (the extension to remaining HP glitch)
3. Brock Through Walls PP Copier glitch
That's because a number of things could potentially go wrong with the older PP underflow glitches. For example, in the Hyper Beam one, the luck involved in finding the right level wild Tentacool, or getting a slower Pokémon with Hyper Beam with enough HP and having Wrap miss.

As with PP underflow glitch, consider 0x40 to mean one PP Up applied, 0x80 to mean two PP Ups applied, and 0xC0 to mean three PP Ups applied. If there is at least one PP Up applied, you can use DHNhIT4 89 ゥ N to add some PP to that move, typically by having the Pokémon in slot 1.
If you use three PP Ups on a move, that is 0xC0 (plus how many power points you have left). While the amount of PP DHNhIT4 89 ゥ N restored may vary, you can keep using it in succession and checking how much PP you have until it's close to decimal 63 (this is 0x3F which would mean a value of 0xFF (0x3F+0xC0) with three PP Ups applied).
If you're not going to reach 63 that might be because the game is ending up with even PP values. In this video I was able to fix it to get the 0xFF value by using Hyper Beam twice, then continuing to use DHNhIT4 89 ゥ N.
