This is based on a request from someone who was having trouble with the Pokémon merge glitch. In this video, we acquire a Bulbasaur knowing Ancientpower (onoe of the PCNY event Pokémon) belonging to GOLD and trade it to Generation II. The core glitches involved are box breaker glitch (box 16) and optionally text move abuse.

https://glitchcity.wiki/wiki/Text_mov...

Requirements:
1. The expanded PC item list. You can get it by performing dry underflow in the PC (requiring a x255 item stack from item duplication)

https://glitchcity.wiki/wiki/Dry_unde...
   • Working Pokémon Yellow MissingNo! NO ...
(Get x129 stack, toss 2 repeat duplication for x255 - both encounters and catching count for activating the duplication)

2. Acquire a Pokémon with the index number matching the move in slot 1 you want. This Pokémon will be in slot 1 of the current PC box.
(In this video glitch Pokémon ゥ ₽ A 0xF6 - that glitch Pokémon requires https://glitchcity.wiki/wiki/Rival_LO... which has its own set of requirements or another glitch like Time Capsule exploit). Its status condition will also add a multiple of 256 to the ID number, otherwise the ID number will be 00000 for no status (e.g. normal Paralysis adds 64*256 (16384) to the ID number. If you're happy with ID number 00000 or are going to change it later, you don't have to worry about the status.

Moves introduced in Generation II will appear as glitch moves in Generation I but convert into the correct Generation II move after using the Time Capsule (in this case TM46 becomes Ancientpower).

3. Pokémon 3 in the current PC box should be the same as the Pokémon you want (or any Pokémon) it will act like the donor byte in Pokémon merge glitch. If the Pokémon is going to have HM moves, make sure this matches with Pokémon 14 as the Day Care can't take Pokémon with HM moves.

4. Pokémon 14 in the current PC box should be the same as the Pokémon you want. It will act like the recipient (Pokémon you receive when stabilised in Day Care) in Pokémon merge glitch.

5. Pokémon 19 in the current PC box will be the internal type 1 you want. Even though the summary screen will say the default types for the new Pokémon, the internal types are still applied (for battle effectiveness or Generation II trade compatibility (as Pokémon with the wrong types cannot be traded to Generation II due to an error that the Pokémon appears abnormal)

6. Like above, Pokémon 20 will be the internal type 2 you want.

Type correspondence table:

Name Hex ID Dec ID Poke
Normal 00 00 3TrainerPoké
Fighting 01 01 Rhydon
Flying 02 02 Kangaskhan
Poison 03 03 NidoranM
Ground 04 04 Clefairy
Rock 05 05 Spearow
Bug 07 07 Nidoking
Ghost 08 08 Slowbro
(Steel) 09 09 Ivysaur
Fire 14 20 Arcanine
Water 15 21 Mew
Grass 16 22 Gyarados
Electric 17 23 Shellder
Psychic 18 24 Tentacool
Ice 19 25 Gastly
Dragon 1A 26 Scyther
(Dark) 1B 27 Staryu

7. Occupy the rest of the PC boxes with any other Pokémon, so you have a full box of 20 Pokémon.

Steps:

1. Set up the current PC box with the needed Pokémon.
2. Using the expanded PC items, find PC item 51 and replace its quantity with x144 (corresponding to glitch box 16 with Pokémon).
3. The box will prematurely change with the previous Pokémon still in it. Next, change the box with itself.
4. You'll end up with a box full of glitchy Pokémon with glitchy nicknames. This is normal, but you'll want to use an item and get the 'unusable' message to avoid a freeze when pressing A on that Pokémon first (buffer fix).
5. Find Pokémon 3 and withdraw it. This Pokémon will have a glitchy nickname and OT, but if done correctly, it should have the desired move 1 and internal types (but the summary will say the default types). It should be a hybrid between former Pokémon 3 and former Pokémon 14 (or a stable Pokémon if 3 and 14 matched).
6. If you received an unstable hybrid, take it in and out of the Day Care to stabilise it. If there is already a glitch Pokémon in the Day Care, you can take it out release it later (to be careful, do the buffer fix before releasing it).
7. The glitch ends here (and you can trade the Pokémon to Generation II if you want, if the types are normal), unless you want to follow the extension to change the OT name and ID number.

Extension and other notes (change OT and ID):
