The 0xFF type of mail in the player's mailbox will cause arbitrary code execution at 1:D9D9. Although it causes the game to freeze and corrupts the stack, you can use it to modify the save file, such as giving yourself a Celebi in box 1. However, this method currently requires another means of arbitrary code execution to change A822 (mail 1) in the first place.
