USFIV Ranked Match - bankgugo (Guile) vs Maverick Hunter X (Juri)
1Among the myriad of matches I've made yesterday this one stood out. First is that it's the only 5-round match I had, and secondly it's has Guile on it.
Guile's defensive abilities are off the roof: you try to jump in you'll eat one of his many anti-air moves not counting the Somersault Kick. Approach him from the ground, and you'll suffer greatly with his outstanding normals. The only real downside with him is that his offensive options are not as great. His most threatening offensive move is the Sonic Boom, in which the speed has several variations to control space and has a very quick recovery to boot. The only thing that's keeping it from becoming broken is it's charge input requirement. Seth has the Sonic Boom in QCF motion, but its frame data is crap as compared to Guile's.
In this match, the Strug-Guile is real.
