Lesson Six:
Set-up:
Put the bot center stage, turn Damage and Position Reset on, Legend Bodvar, Set Damage to 0, and Dodge Reaction to Neutral.

Exercise:
6.1
Grab a sword and practice neutral light, chase dodge, down light, jump, side air. You will use chase dodge to time and position your down light.
6.2
Pick up a hammer and practice side light, chase dodge, pivot down light, side light. To get the pivot on down light, hold down and the opposite direction you're facing after dodging. Keep holding those directions until you input your light attack.
6.3
Turn Dodge Reaction to Off, Jump Reaction to Up and Set Damage to 130. Practice side light, chase dodge, side signature. This sequence has a large gap but will catch any attempts to jump or dodge away for a KO. If your opponent attacks immediately after leaving hitstun your attempt to side signature will be interrupted.

Chase dodge can allow for unexpected positioning and KOs. It does carry risk, because you are exchanging the defensive option of dodge for an offensive advantage. Use time in Training Mode to experiment with different chase dodge options out of every attack and from various damage values.
