After I accidentally destroyed that Skelleton Spawner in the combat ruin in the previous episode, I started to look for another one, repaired it and turned a nearby hut into a portal room. By doing that I'm always having access to that combat arena, which means I could use it to train my character on any of the weapons we might find, as long as I don't destroy that spawner.
After that I went back to where my boat was docked, hoping we would be able to get some encounters with the new monsters.
Eventually I did and it was nice to be able to fight a single star bear and multiple ghosts. And actually ending up with a Ghost trophy!
By the time I got home, my inventory was filled up to the brim, so it was a matter of unloading things, collecting more gems and heading off to the Bog Witch, as there's a few more things added to the PTB, which I hadn't addressed yet. And while those things are crafted, I won't use them until we're back in the Mistlands.
