After stream thoughts: This is gonna have to be a multipart series for me, hard mode is exactly that and some of the old speed running exploits have been patched. gonna actually have to play the game as intended now.
Hildir's request has finally dropped and with it comes the Trail of Tyr contest.
This is attempt 2.
I wont be reading chat during this time there are things to be done, things to kill, and regrets to be made.
For those that don't know the challenge has been set off by the Iron Gate dev team. To keep it simple the idea is a hardcore speed run on a predetermined seed: MX7L9GYcf2 (MX# seeds tend to have a central super continent so at least 2 of the bosses will be on the mainland)
The use of dev commands, mods, or other players will invalidate your run. Runs have to be uncut or unedited preferably streamed or it will not be counted. More then one run is allowed with a new character every time.

Roommate is out for the night so not gonna be talking this stream.
Lesson learned from the last stream do not rush it. Normally I rush game progression and that gave me a bunch of resets trying the same thing. For now i gotta take it slow and build up proper armor and weapon levels.
preupdate i think WR speedrun was about 7 hours and after trying it for 4 hours and barely getting out of stone age id say the first full secession attempt is gonna be 14 hrs. and im not the one who's gonna set that. This attempt im gonna try to get down breeding and farming aspects as trying to send the plains on Cloudberries sausages and deer stew ain't gonna cut it.
