Valis IV Slide Shenanigans Switch/PC Engine Acts 4-1 & 4-2
11Good lord this game trolls hard.
1) That slide is stupidly inconsistent. It was hilarious getting countered or being forced to stop on stairs while I can pass through enemies.
2) Amu can double jump, Lena can slide, and Asfal, the big ranged guy who can step on spikes, goes after his mad son, Gallagher.
3) Advertise for worse games, which I had to make a thumbnail/end with. I don't know why they'd mention valis 4 unless it was the bad super nes one (super valis IV) that lacked cutscenes, the slide, only 1 character, and got tougher if you didn't speed run levels (nice ability holding at least).
4) Despite having stupid clink slash sounds, this is way better than Valis 3 as you don't need to charge your attacks, and the slide does something sometimes (2 also lacks it, and constantly has cheap enemies, though 1 it is very game breaking).
5) 0:30 Win by doing nothing vs boomerang ladies that phase through.
6) 0:37 I had to get hit by an enemy to get kicked upstairs to the platform, which is why I didn't rewind when I realized.

This is on the 2nd valis collection which I feel don't bother buying the collections as Syd Valis (they misspell SD super deformed), valis 2 and valis 3 aren't good, and snes for 4 (flawed as it is) is on switch online.
There is an upcoming 3rd one that I'm gonna avoid as it has inferior versions of the same games. You will still get manuals, art and sound for individual games.
