I am completely amazed by finding this neat trick that older versions didn't let me attack at all (which I show at the end of vid from old mobile based on psp version.
I assume this may be a bug because you hit with the unarmed animation despite having shields (all weapons have their separate animations and even colors like Guy's ancient sword, which I don't think the left hand makes a difference in curse rates as status only shows accuracy in dominant/favored hand). Maybe captain america throws his mighty shield 😉 so fast we can't see it given divine evasion boost.
There are challenging antlions in the desert below Kashuan Keep who can stun lock you if you don't blizzard them ASAP and double shields make that more RNG. (You can go southeast to the dreadnought, which is easier than going to Altair and backtracking to a longer area, which encounters off helps greatly as NPC's say north of fynn on a map if you circumnavigate, as it's southeast if you don't).
Red Soul is pretty easy like most enemies with boost on so I recommend turning off all encounters unless you need drops or they catch up. Here is a version differences site: https://youtube.com/shorts/c2MUMGVvNKo?feature=share
I never imagined a build that I didn't need to prep anything (RIP unarmed as this setup also boosts unarmed they call hands, you had 0 evasion, and magic interference won't stop me from hitting support spells), so this GOAT'S FF2 as tactics makes you a monk/thief way too long for samurai and ninja to unlock let alone dancer, bard, mime take too long to unlock for experiments.
