There are three types of wall penetration: Low Medium and High.
Different Types of Materials which are Glass/Wood, Stone, and Metal for the types of wall penetration.
Gun Types:
classic, shorty, frenzy, stinger, and bucky all have low penetration.
the ghost, spectre, judge, bulldog, guardian, phantom, vandal and marshal. for medium.
sheriff,, operator, ares, and odin have high penetration.

1) Damage output is not consistent
2) If wall has two different material types, your gun may or may not be able to shoot through it
3) Depends on thickness and material and is very subject to which bullets can get through
4) Some boxes you should not be able to get shot through but still can
In summary, wall penetration in Valorant appears to be simplistic when first looking at it, but becomes more complex as you dive deep. It would be fantastic if Riot can come out with actual numbers or information to help us better understand these mechanics.
