Valve Source Code 2013 Tutorial (Episode 26): Adding a Full Holster Sequence Feature
Hello everyone and welcome to a new (probably short) series of videos I do involving the source code from Valve for Half-Life 2, and some guides on how to do stuff with this code. In this episode, I outline how to add a full holster sequence feature, where a player holsters the currently equipped weapon before deploying the next weapon they want to use (seeing it in the video makes more sense!). There is one issue I haven't resolved, which is where the player can still use the weapon they are holstering, which is not supposed to happen.
