Well, today was bittersweet. This is another re-record, as my initial attempts the day before were again lost to Twitch. Either XSplit didn't bother broadcasting, despite telling me it was, or Twitch simply never grabbed the stream and XSplit didn't tell me. Either way, I had learned my lessons from Realms of the Haunting and still had my day save available, so thank heaven for small favors.

Still took about as long to get through again, but there was far less frustration this time out. Mostly because I managed to pick up the Awaken spell before coming in this time, and death wasn't as much of an issue. There was still a lot of fairly monotonous "combat" consisting of luring a lone vampire away and draining them peacefully for ease. It's slow, it's boring, but it is by far the most effective method of defeating them in this game. Which, in my opinion, really doesn't help this game's case any. We also, sadly, lose my favorite party member today. So we're back to having Wilhelm tagging along as we return to Prague.

On the bright side, we had TheOnyxPath join us in chat for a bit today. TheOnyxPath are the current publishers of the Vampire: The Masquerade pen and paper RPG, among others. So there was a bit of a discussion today, learning some of the backstory, and seeing the company supporting its fanbase. I whole-heartedly approve of such things.
