Velanian Crisis Update E2 Playthrough!
1So, in this update is a much needed fix for the BFL's laser trails.... But wait there's more.
This update adds two new guns, a throwback MK2 of the original plasma rifle called the "UAC PLS35 MK2 Plasmacaster" which fires at a faster rate and has an alt fire with a pseudo-random "shotgun style" pattern.
On top of that, finally a real chaingun replacement... But with the power of three. Meet the UAC 7.68 Eviscerator Tricannon. This gun acts as the stand in for the chaingun, except it fires three high damage rounds at around the same rate as the old chaingun, and uses three rifle bullets a shot from the ammo pool, don't worry, as the ammo pool is expanded, but it is wise to use this weapon when you know you have ammo to spare. Now, if you use the change firemode button, you get a buckshot version of this gun. It fires slower, uses rifle ammo, but each one of the three bullets will cost you 4 rifle ammo. That means the shotgun mode will cost 12 ammo per shot to use. Not advised unless needing some serious room clearing power.
All in all, this update fixes some broken stuff, adds two weapons and rebalanced the spawners a bit. I hope you get some enjoyment out of the mod, and if you can't find the BFL, it replaces the BFG... It won't show til you find it.
