Someone on KHInsider came up with a pretty interesting theory regarding Ventus. Could Ventus have been part of the Dandelions in Daybreak Town? According to the user on KHInsider, there are some clues that could hint towards such possibility.

Ventus appeared in Kingdom Hearts Birth By sleep. Master Xehanort’s initial plan was to turn Ventus into his vessel. But since Ventus seemed too weak, Xehanort moved to plan B, for the X-Blade. By extracting the darkness from Ventus’ heart, Vanitas was born. In the end, Vanitas and Ventus fought and the X-Blade was forged, well temporarily.

Kingdom Hearts X’s events take place right before the great unavoidable keyblade war. Foreteller Ava, who represents the Vulpeus Union, wants to form a group known as the Dandelions. Those who can’t easily get controlled by the darkness are welcomed to join the Dandelions. This group of keyblade wielders will escape the war and move to the next world.

Could Ventus have been part of the Dandelions? Could he have survived the keyblade war? If so, then how is he still alive in Birth By Sleep?
