What’s going on with the Jak & Daxter series these days? Will Jak 4 ever become a thing? A few months ago, some concept arts were released online. We believe that those concept arts were ideas on where Naughty Dog was going to take the series.

Naughty Dog developed series such as Crash Bandicoot, the Last of Us and Uncharted. After taking a look at those concept arts, it feels like Naughty Dog was planning on completely transforming the series into something completely different. Jak & Daxter does not have to be realistic in order to make it appealing, that’s not what the series is about at all.

The company struggled with what to do with the series. Some fans completely disliked those concept arts; Naughty Dog had realized that they couldn’t do it. Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer explained that they tried bringing Jak & Daxter back, but judging by those concept arts, it clearly shows that the company is pretty much lost.

Now that the developer is done with the Uncharted series, should they return to Jak and Daxter? Should they release a brand new collection for the PS4? Should they start focusing on Jak 4?
