Jarrod continues his Saturn coverage with a look at the Saturn launch title, Virtua Fighter. While it was a revolutionary arcade game back in 1993, this '95 port is anything but. The gameplay was far from spot-on, there were loads of flickering issues and glitches galore. Bottom line, the game was rushed to the market so it could be released with the Saturn in May instead of September 1995.

Anyone interested in picking this one up should instead head on eBay and search for Virtua Fighter Remix, which is a much better game. Better yet, look for Virtua Fighter 2 as that's by far the best 3D fighter released on the Saturn and most people consider it the best fighter released during the entire generation.
