Sonic R was released on the Sega Saturn in 1997 and is fondly remembered for its horrible controls. Many people consider Sonic R to be among the worst games ever released for the Saturn, and an insult to the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I'll admit the controls make the game so bad it's good, because I haven't laughed so hard during a racing game ever.
