In 1997 the Sega Saturn was all but dead in North America, but that's because of some very illogical decisions by Sega of America's management. Had these events not happened, and instead the company focused on these arcade perfect ports like X-Men vs. Street Fighter the Saturn would likely have been a huge hit here.

If you're looking to start a Saturn collection, you begin with this game right here. It was the very first arcade perfect port ever released on a home console and it blew everyone's mind when it was released. You'll need something like the Action Replay Plus cart in order to bypass the region encoding and use its built-in 4MB RAM expansion in order to play this awesome fighting game.

It remains such a shame this wonderful game never made its way to North America. For all you PlayStation fans out there who only experienced the horrible port on that system, do yourself a favour and go play this game. You'll never look back again.
