The built-in debugger for Visual Studio Code is both powerful and easy to use. It's a welcome tool for any developer.

The debugger for VSCode works almost exactly like the debugger for Visual Studio Express (and other versions). You set a breakpoint and you can view active variables, set watches, and look at the call stack.

Certain languages offer more powerful functionality. For example, with C# you can edit your code while execution has stopped on a breakpoint. Pretty cool stuff.
