Vox is currently in alpha and currently has a randomly generated landscape with various biomes, including desert, grass and snow. Different monsters spawn in the different biomes, plus there are treasure chests (and sometimes mimics!) scattered everywhere. To get quests talk to any NPC with an exclamation mark and then perform what they ask - usually a fetch quest, or a killing quest. This video shows typical gameplay in the Vox game alpha, with building, fighting and crafting.
