VR archery makes this BRUTAL VR COMBAT game even BETTER! // Quest 2 airlink gameplay
379Hellsplit Arena has been my favourite VR combat game for quite some time, what it lacks in mod support (this might be changing very soon) it more than makes up for in brutal VR combat, gorgeous visuals and a dev team who are commited to constantly adding new content to this already jam packed VR game. Hellsplit Arena is a VR physics playground for people who want realistic VR combat in beautiful environments, for a long time this has been the best VR sword fighting game in my opinion but the newest update has finally pushed the game beyond visceral close quarters combat and given players ranged options for engaging enemies; VR archery combat is finally here. Alongside a HUGE new map called Creek the addition of VR archery to Hellsplit Arena adds a completely new dimension to the gameplay and gives players a tonne of exciting new ways to dispatch their enemies... however those same enemies have also learnt some new tricks as zombie archers can now fire back at you from a distance!
There are a tonne of great VR arena fighting games out there, from Swordsman VR to Blade and Sorcery we're spoilt for choice when it comes to realistic and enjoyable VR combat simulators, however I for one always find myself returning to Hellsplit Arena, it's environments blow me away every time I step foot in the game and it's fantasy setting/enemies appeal to me as someone who loves a more horror/dark magic spin in his fighting games. This Hellsplit Arena gameplay was captured on the Quest 2 via airlink, there is sadly no native Hellsplit Arena Oculus Quest 2 version available so those wanting to experience this one will need a VR capable PC to do so. If the devs could work some magic to get this game running on the Quest 2 standalone then I'm certain this would be a HUGE hit!
