8This time around we check out Detached, a VR space game where you move around between multiple installations via the directional jets in your spacesuit. In particular, we play through part of the single-player tutorial which teaches flight controls and what different modules do (like shields). So come and let’s play Detached on the Oculus!

This video shows off the Detached VR gameplay on an Oculus Rift headset. Detached VR is a fun experience, gorgeous, and with fantastic background music. It’s currently in Early Access on Steam (link below). That said, I enjoyed my time with the Detached VR gameplay and the Detached VR Introduction – it’s a wonderful experience to fly around in a beautiful space setting. This video, therefore, will cover some of my Detached VR first impressions and likely a Detached VR review at the end.

This is an extreme VR experience that simulates sudden and dramatic acceleration, freefalling, twisting and rolling. Even with the 90 FPS frame rate, it is not for VR-sensitive players.
