W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir Area Hiking and Biking Trails Wilkesboro, North Carolina

So many trails! If you like hiking and biking, you’ll love the trails here at W. Kerr Scott Dam Reservoir and Dam area. We visited the area and checked out some of these trails. I don’t have a bike riding report but some bike trails were packed on the weekends if the trails were open. The trails will close during wet weather so check the website for status.

We found most of the trails to be easily graded and clear of obstructions. A couple in this video were not maintained and had many deadfalls and obstructions. Still, these are beautiful wood walks (or bike trails).
