Walking to the Ops Center on Stovalas IX (RP) - 036 - No Man’s Sky Survival 1.13
0I almost stayed in character for the entire episode. It was close but not quite.
I've completed the bulk of my journey to the Operations Center. It has been a challenging journey at times. Stovalas IX lives up to its name with frequent, violent, boiling hot storms. I recovered data from one of my previous generation s that depicted lost alien worlds with towering cliffs. Stovalas could be the source of or an example of this fragmented information. Some of the cliffs are between 30-50 meters high. There must have been liquid water flowing here for millennia. I wonder if the Vy'keen extracted it or if it was blown off by strong solar winds. I can't detect much of a magnetic field on Stovalas so it is possible that her core solidified long ago.
While I was walking I finished my primary mission of cataloging the wide variety of organic entities that live here. I was attacked by a couple of scavenging creatures and had to protect myself. I still managed to do post mortem scans for the galactic encyclopedia.
The core survival resources are plentiful here and I am now certain that it would be an excellent planet for my research facility. This system provides access to so many elements within very short travel times. I need to return to Touchit P. and begin dismantling my current facility.
