I'm sure those of us who've played the Generation 3 Pokemon games -- Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald -- remember Wally, the frail, sickly little boy who just wanted to be a great Pokemon trainer. Throughout the main story, Wally left his family's care, pushed himself to get stronger, and eventually made his way to Victory Road, where, in the post-game, he can often be rebattled.

But, in the context of the game's universe, what would become of Wally? What if he kept pushing himself harder and harder, always hanging around the caves that compose Victory Road, always training his Pokemon, always trying to get stronger, so he can be like you? What would happen if he never stopped pushing himself? And what if he couldn't handle it? I think you know where this is going...

(Yeah, usually, I tend to avoid video game creepypastas that go for the cheap scare of, "THE GAME IS ALIVE, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!", but this one didn't feel as cheesey, because it touches on something that I've actually wondered about the long-term outcome of Wally's story in the Hoenn games. Plus, this is one I've wanted to do for a while, and what better time than with about a month before the release of the Hoenn remakes, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire? (So, you know, #HoennConfirmed and all that jazz.) Hope you like this one!)
