One of the core mechanics of the Pokemon franchise has always been the very act of catching various kinds of Pokemon. The main mission you're always given in the games is to do just that -- catch every single kind of Pokemon there is in order to complete the Pokedex, a task that becomes more arduous with each new generation as more and more Pokemon are added. However, one of the biggest ethical quandries has been whether or not this is even the right thing to do.
Simply put -- is catching Pokemon right or wrong? I explore this question in today's video!
Obviously I'd like to hear your thoughts on this as well, and I'd also like to know if you'd like to see me making videos in the future about other ethical problems in the Pokemon universe. This video, of course, doesn't even touch the OTHER core mechanic of the Pokemon games, which, of course, is pitting them against each other in battles. If there are any other aspects of the Pokemon universe you'd like to see me tackle in future videos, please let me know! I know I've been slacking in making Pokemon videos as of late, and I DO want to make more, so I want to know what you'd like to see!
