At a Battle Rating of 2.3, the BF 110 C-4 lives up to its moniker of "Destroyer" not only because of its brutal armament, but also due to its rugged durability that allows you to remain in the fight. Its performance in the vertical is comparable to a number of its single engine contemporaries, with its climb rate permitting you to climb to intercept enemy bombers with ease.

To offset these strengths, the plane is weak with regards to turn fighting and overall energy retention. Slight changes of direction can bleed 50km/h+ of speed instantly, and continuous turn-fighting will leave you an easy target for enemy fighters. Therefore, one has to keep their speed up (350-450km/h) and break away when necessary to stay alive. Moreover, at speeds of 550km/h+, the plane becomes unresponsive with the roll rate slowing noticeably.

Still, an energetic style of play is favoured, and as depicted in this Airfield Domination game on the map Britain, one can use the strengths and weakness of the BF 110 C-4 to achieve some devastating results.
