I also show the slide Pokémon in slot 3 and Quagsire holding TM02 with Return as the first move in slot 4.

First use these box name codes to get wrong pocket TM17.

After you get the wrong pocket TM17 in the normal items pocket, move the slide Pokémon to slot 1, and the Quagsire to slot 2.

Next, go back to a Pokémon Center and enter these box names:

4. é!2p0'd'vA
5. 555éB4x'd

Use TM17, then go up and down the stairs. If you want to escape the Safari Zone without resetting, you can also make your party just a poisoned Pokémon after using TM17 but before going up and down the stairs.

(Have the poisoned Pokémon beforehand as part of the party with the slide Pokémon and Quagsire, then deposit all but the poisoned Pokémon)
