We Found Over A Dozen Nintendo Switch 2s At THIS Local Store!
2429 weeks ago today, Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch 2 to the world. Since then it has gone one to become the best selling console of all time at launch. Even with that success, some people have had problems finding the system at retail if they didn't preorder one. We've recently found systems at Costco and Walmart, but we've yet to see them at a Target store. While stopping off to pick up a prescription to help us heal up from dislocating 2 fingers recently, I went back to the electronics section to see what their stock status was like.
I was at this store 2 days ago and there weren't any Switch 2 systems on-hand. This time, however, there was a great stock of systems! They had over a dozen Switch 2 combos on hand, the version with Mario Kart World included. I'm thinking this is the system that Nintendo is focusing on selling as it has better overall margin and a higher selling price at $499USD compared to $449USD.
In addition to the great stock of Switch 2s, which I have not seen this quantity at any other store previously, they also had 3 other versions of the previous generation of systems on-hand. They had Switch Lites, Switch OLEDs and the V2 of the original Nintendo Switch. It was rather interesting to see that all of the variants were at the new, higher price points that Nintendo announced several weeks ago.
They also had a decent selection of games, from Mario Kart World, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, Street Fighter, and more. Have you found any Nintendo Switch 2 systems in the wild? If you did, where did you see it at? Share you experiences in the comments!
