We Reached CORE TOWN After Defeating Another Boss! - Return From Core
13Hello Everyone,
After finally having figured out how to cook swampy fried fish without making it soggy we gain intel from Zoe that Carl is still alive but badly wounded. He was taken to bunker number 3, so we rushed there. The entrance is heavily guarded but Joe distracted them so Zoe and I could sneak in. This area is known as the stairs of no return and used to be a passage between this level and the core town on level 4. It collapsed at some point but the church seemed to have dug out some of the cave to build a lab in it. Around the base we discover some diary pages, these appear to be from a researcher called Simon. Towards the end of the base we encounter someone who seems to be in charge, but before we can get him he runs away and unleashes one of the test subjects they were working on. apostle No. 12, this guy is really strong and can dual-wield throwing picks. We nearly lose the battle as we get surrounded by more members but Zoe jumps in to beat them up, holds back the apostle, and picks us up and we escape just in time. We did not see Carl anywhere (though my big guess is that it was the apostle) Will and the rest wanna go to Core Town to find more information on his whereabouts. So the next task is to power up the drill, go to level 4, and meet up with the researcher Simon.
We craft everything we need to power the drill and head to Core Town which is decorated with Christmas decorations for the Christmas event. At last, we finally made it so next time it will all be about the Christmas Event, Just in time for Christmas day!
