WedSNESday: Let's Play Skyblazer
This week on WedSNESday, Matt & Luke dive deep into some thinly veiled Buddhist mythology-come-strange post-apocalyptic sidescrolling action platformer with martial arts and wall scaling and so on. Luke brawls with arms thrust backward through the first 15 minutes of the game, and punches fire successfully. Matt practices his Krang impression.
Skyblazer, also known as Karu-raou (迦楼羅王) is a side-scrolling action platformer based loosely on Buddhist mythology by Ukiyotei and Sony Records/Sony Imagesoft in 1994. The hero Sky (Garuda) must battle many hostile creatures and gods to rescue the kidnapped Ariana (Vishnu) through 17 levels and an overworld map.

WedSNESday is the Level 0 NPCs weekly series where we play one older game for one episode, just to relive the nostalgia and maybe make your hump day just a little bit more fun.
