The Nintendo Switch 2 has a release date! And a price. $450 for the system and $80 for Mario Kart World.
Naturally people are upset with the price of the games. People are quick to point out that pesky inflation as the reason. But what if I told you that it doesn't have to be that high. Sure, game development costs have gotten higher, but suggesting that Nintendo had no choice but to raise the price is a huge misunderstanding of how Video Games are priced.
In this video I explain the economy of scale and how value is suggestive.
