One question that many people have been pondering since the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is "What happens when I travel across time zones?" This was mainly due to COVID-related lockdowns in 2020.

This is particularly true within the United States, which is the third-largest country in the world by landmass, with the contiguous states spanning four different time zones. Many states reopened in 2021, which led to increased cross-country travel via Interstate Highways.

But I wanted to make my own analysis of such phenomena. So on my way to Kansas City, I made an overnight stop just west of the Indiana-Illinois state line (which is also the Eastern/Central Time Zone Line).
