What if there was no Class of '92?
Manchester United had 7 league titles when the Premier League opened for business on August 1992. At the beginning of that particular summer, the Class of ’92 at Manchester United had won the FA Youth Cup, the first United side to do so since the Busby Babes. Ryan Giggs and David Beckham on the wings, the Neville brothers in defence and Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes in the midfield. When Ryan Giggs retired as a one-club man in 2014, Manchester United had won 20 league titles, knocking Liverpool from their perch.
