Where to Stay in Austin? Stay Here!
52https://www.vrbo.com/893282?unitId=1441223 Book here. This is not the normal kind of video I make but I had a great time staying here while in Austin. This is a 1920s home is a great neighborhood. It reminded me a lot of the home I grew up in.
This house is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Blacks BBQ is not far away and it is one of the top rated Austin BBQ places. This home is also located close to downtown. While staying for a conference I used Ride Austin http://www.rideaustin.com for transportation. They are non profit and rides were $10 each way to downtown and back. Also they have lots of drivers available and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get picked up.
The best part about this home is IT HAS SOFT WATER! That may not seem like a big deal. But for those of us that live in a region where the water is very hard having soft water is a treat both or drinking and taking a shower. If you have never experienced the difference one day you'll experience it and be like "Heck Ya!".
One little known fact is that this house is owned by a famous video game developer. You may or may not meet him if you stay here. But if you do he's a really nice guy and knows the Austin music scene really well.
