If you've got a little analysis paralysis when it comes to choosing where to spend your Skill Points as you earn them playing Starfield, in this video tutorial I show you which training I unlocked, as a basic guide.
These probably are not the best skills to unlock, but they worked very well for me.
I spent most of my skill points on perks that I needed to progress through the game - especially the ones related to my Ships Shields & Grav-Jump range.
There is of course no right or wrong answer to this, you may well have very different priorities or play-style to me, but hopefully this will be useful to new and beginner players.
