Point and click adventures has always been one of my favourite game genres. I spent countless hours playing Sierra and Lucas Arts classics back in the 90's.
That's why it makes me a bit sad that it turned into a niche genre in 2000s.
Luckily, though, there are many independent studios nowadays that follow the footsteps of the classics, while trying to add a little personal touch to a well-proven formula.
Whispers of a Machine is one of the finest example of the new generation of point and click adventures. It combines the classic mechanics with some new features (cybernetic augmentations) to create a familiar yet unique experience.
If you like point and click adventures and Nordic police series like Bron (The Bridge), you will definitely enjoy Whispers of a Machine.
Besides, thanks to Proton, it works perfectly out of the box on Linux!
