I enjoyed playing Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines a lot, and one of the first Tux Reports videos I uploaded here was of VtMB. So, naturally, I was very excited about the sequel, but I was also intrigued by Coteries of New York.
Unlike a big part of the gaming community I enjoy visual novels and think that they deserve to be called a game genre. Many visual novels have stories so well-written they put most of the modern AAA titles to shame.
In any case, I was a bit discouraged when the developers initially released the game only for Windows. Luckily though, they heard the voices of Linux gamers and, after waiting for several months, we can finally enjoy Coteries of New York on Linux.
I still haven't finished the game, so I won't be judging it for the moment. But I am enjoying the experience so far.
Thankfully I haven't run into any bug so far, so I can say that the Linux version runs very smoothly even on my modest laptop.
