Since launching the channel we have been floored by the amount of support we have received from the retro community. However, nothing beats this surprise, our first piece of fan mail form Patreon supporter Jason. We weren't expecting anything so when it got here, needless to say, we were shocked and surprised.

Inside the box was a letter and 2 cartridges, one for the SNES and one for the Sega Genesis. The first game we opened was a custom version of Mega Man X for the SNES. The cool thing about this is that the case is transparent and two LEDs are installed which light up when the cart is inserted and powered on. The look when powered on is very cool indeed.

The second cartridge is a special custom version of the Genesis Super Street Fighter II Special Champions Edition. This version has remixed sound to improve the voice and audio quality so that it is not as garbled or distorted as on the original cart. It also features an enhanced color palette to improve the graphics, which really do look good.

I want to thank Jason for the gifts, something we never anticipated or expected. He does amazing work and, if you want to see more make sure you check out the custom Metroid Mother Cartridge he also sent to John Riggs, highlighted here:
