Why Do They Keep MOVING? (Book of Boba Fett)
157The towers of Jabba's Palace move from shot to shot! Why did the filmmakers do this? To find out, we're going beyond the boundaries of the camera by recreating shots of Boba Fett's Palace from The Book of Boba Fett in Minecraft and pulling the camera out to see where each tower really sits.
I documented every shot of Boba Fett's Palace in The Book of Boba Fett and compared them to the establishing shots of Jabba's Palace from Return of the Jedi (same place, different owners), and discovered at least four different tower configurations used in The Book of Boba Fett. Why do they exist? Why didn't the filmmakers just use one canon layout? We speculate. And rant, a bit. Just a wee bit.
