Why I've Backed Tears of Magic for So Long
43Tears of Magic is an indie RPG by Good Old Pixel, who wants to make a spiritual successor to the Breath of Fire series. But there's so much more to the story than that.
There are an ever-growing number places you can hear about all of the amazing features and characters the developers have planned, including on their KickStarter page (at least as of the posting of this video), so I wanted to do something different. I wanted to tell the story of my experiences with the project, from when I first learned about Tears of Magic from a Reddit post to getting to know the people behind the game. And I especially wanted to share what I think of the team behind the game as people, because that's something I feel is so important but doesn't usually get talked about in reviews and interviews. These are people I've known for two years now, and I wanted to let possible supporters know that these are kind, hard-working, and talented people I trust to make something amazing.
Tears of Magic's KickStarter has a little over two weeks left as of the posting of this video, and it's already about halfway funded. Anything you can do to help, be it backing on KickStarter or sharing the campaign, is super appreciated not only by the dev team but by me as well because I have been waiting SO LONG for a game like this to come along XD
