Key points:
Two handed weapons have more range compared to one handed weapons
(This allows you to stay further back to reduce the risk of getting bit)
Two handed weapons do more damage in most cases
Two handed weapons can do damage to multiple enemies with only one swing
(Note: This must be enabled in the multiplayer settings for Build 41's brand new multiplayer for this to be true)
Some two handed weapons such as the Sledge Hammer and axe, can act not only as a weapon but a useful tool when looting.
(Example: bringing a sledge hammer to a warehouse to smash through wooden boxes)
There are some disadvantages to Two Handed weapons:
Since you resort to it for many combat encounters, it typically is the object that needs the most repair
Two handed weapons are typically more cumbersome compared to one-handed weapons
(Tip: make sure to keep it on your back to reduce the weight on the melee weapon)
