Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G56, 2nd Campaign pt3 1/3: The Luminoth's resurgence plan.
Entering the Alien's domain unraveled more complications. The truth about the origin of the Ing. Then, it's a matter of me speculating Samus Involvement. What I previously thought was her taking control of the local species, before corrupting them to build herself an army, turned out to be something different. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro and situation.
(1:52) Mini-Boss at Temple Sanctuary and Transport Controller.
Apparently, Dark Samus sent a squad of Splinters in an attempt to intercept me, before I can unlock the truth of the situation. Upon the Mini-Boss demise what I later found was an Energy Module of Luminoth design, fused with my armor.
(11:26) Meeting U-Mos at Main Energy Controller.
We meet U-Mos, Sentinel of the Luminoth. It turned out, that was no hologram. The Alien is alive and well.
And so, he begins to tell me about the Ing. They came in an object that landed or crashed unto the planet. It had the most bizarre effect of creating a sort of dimensional shift.
Either the Ing arrived with the object, and settled on the Dark Dimension before invading the Light Dimension. Or, they where born on the former, after the object hit.
The Dimensional Shift caused the Luminoth's energy grid to be divided into two. If one half gains all, the other will perish.
(20:38) Scanning U-Mos and Main Energy Controller.
Learning about the leader of The Luminoth and how their Planetary Energy system works. What I do need to do to bring it back online in this Light Side of Aether.
There's one more thing. The Luminoth are not ingenious from Aether... They were aware of the Chozo and other species. And to eventually decided to claim a world of their own.
(28:24) Temple Sanctuary: Pathway to Agon.
It's clear now. Aether was not hit by a Phazon asteroid like Tallon IV. But with I would speculate was an Ing ship or weapon of some kind.
From this Central location I will eventually have access to all the Temples, each containing a piece, I need to bring back using the Energy Module that fuzed with me. But we are talking about the Temples... on the Dark Dimension.
(33:44) Temple Grounds: Temple Assembly Site.
Splinter's attack.
(38:57) Back at Industrial Site through Collapsed Tunnel.
(42:35) Agon Transport Access and Transport to Agon Wastes.
First Missile Expansion acquired.
(46:33) To Agon Wastes.
(48:07) Plaza Access.
I continue to discover unusual species. More complex than those of Tallon IV.
(51:23) Agon Wastes: Mining Plaza. Part 1/2.
I officially arrived at Agon Wastes, where the deadliest creatures local to Aether attacked. Looks like it's going to come to a point where Ing creatures are not going to be the only thing I need to worry about...
