Windows Phone has a great backup feature that can automatically backup your phone to the 'cloud' (translation - OneDrive). Separate from your photo and video auto upload, the backup setting will backup your apps (including scores, progress, etc from participating apps), your settings, passwords for your accounts, call history, Start screen layout and color, Internet Explorer favorites, your accounts and even the custom words in your dictionary, There are even more preferences as well.

What's the point? Well, if you lose your phone or you are buying a new one, everything can be put back with a minimum of fuss.
