WinQuake (PC) Gameplay -Chunky Quake-
3Win Quake is an official id Software Source Port of Quake to Windows 95. Unlike GL Quake, it only runs in software mode, using your PC's CPU, and 2D card. There is no fancy 3D accelerator support for this port, just good old chunky Quake. This definitely isn't a Speed run, and I am definitely not great at the game. This is just me playing and enjoying good old Quake.
As far as compatibility is concerned, I don't even think I had to run this with compatibility mode, even on my WIndows 10 computer. If I remember correctly, I just put the disk in my disk drive, installed the game, and it just ran. Yes, I still have a disk drive, and my next computer will have one via a USB DVD drive, because physical drives will always be a must as far as I am concerned. I will not "Own nothing and be happy."
