Witcher 3 (PS4) - Not easy being Ciri
7When we last left Ciri, something unusual had happened to her... Whatever the mysterious hormonal changes or witcher mutations that made her don Geralt's bulky physique, Ciri is now so shocked that she sells her unique weapon Zireael... making things far worse for herself!
Ciri's equipment works in a bit strange way. She has her sword Zireael with her, but it's not equipped - it just lays there in her inventory gathering dust. This means you can sell it at a blacksmith and get a lot of $$$ in the process. (note: not smart)
Ciri doesn't have punching melee attacks at all. Instead, she will now swing a non-existing sword when you try to attack with her. You cannot hit enemies with it, meaning that you are completely defenseless if you go ahead and sell Zireael!
Also demonstrating how in some shops a placeholder Geralt won't appear. Instead, Ciri finally gets a chance to get acknowledged and talk back... but in Geralt's husky voice. Eh, I guess it's better than nothing.
Ciri doesn't have a witcher sense, and so it might prove difficult to finish quests that require using witcher sense with her. You can examine clues on the ground, but it seems she won't even comment on them.
So far I haven't found a horse that you could mount as Ciri. Maybe in right circumstances you can get a horse for her, but it's uncertain.
Eventually some soldiers come to arrest Geralt / Ciri for offensive behaviour. About time too, but we never see the conclusion of this exciting situation because the game softlocks in an endless loading screen...
