Fight Knight works a bit like these roguelike RPG's, but instead of a top down view, you got a first person view. Battles are random encounters and you enter into a battlemode, where you can move left right backward and forward in a field by field step way. You use this mechanice mainly to avoid attacks or bring yourself into position to attack.
But instead of using somekind of weapon, you battle them with your gauntlets and punch your way through the enemies.
Outside the battle you also move from field to field turn around and navigate through the maze, to activate switches, speak and help npc, and generally try to reach the next stage on this tower.

The whole game comes in a weird (but awesome) 2,5 D look, So the sourrounding is fully 3D with PS1 like textures (but without the shifting) and the Enemies and NPC are in 2D. There is much stretching and squishing going on, so hitting and enemy makes them wobble, which looks kinda hilarious,
