YYES!! Finally managed to pull off a CLEAN run for this route, without major mistakes, and without monsters getting stuck in random areas of the map. I was aiming for a time of sub 2m40, so I got VERY happy when I managed to pull off a sub 2m30 instead. From practicing, I knew sub 2m30 was possible, but I never thought I'd get lucky enough to actually make it.

I mostly just followed the route of NightTerror, with a few changes to make the route faster: used the shotgun and chaingun to kill or hurt monsters when on-route to several places, including the imps before the berserk building, and the entire horde of monsters when grabbing the rockets and weapons from the two islands. But the biggest route change was the use of rockets: after grabbing the rocket launcher, I decided to punch monsters first, open the final trap doors by grabbing the green armor, and keep punching for a while until I'm completely surrounded by the horde. That is the perfect moment to use up all the rockets to maximize the total splash damage, and also get rid of some lost souls. Also, I skipped the soulsphere entirely because with this faster route you can be invulnerable all the way to the exit.

This map is horrendous, and UV Maxing it quickly, is even more horrendous. After grabbing the plasma and berserk, you need to keep rotating the map, waking ALL the monster closets with cacodemons, and then ending up at the center of the map and HOPE that all the monsters are there. But there's no way to tell if they are, because even with the advanced HUD, you don't know how many monsters are left alive in the berserk room after all the in-fighting.

90% of the resets of this map were due to monsters being left alive, roaming around the map, when you're at the secret exit. It's extremely frustrating. Also the secret exit platforming can be annoying, and can also mean resets, just like the secret with the chainsaw which you must jump to
(to tag the secret), but NOT grab the chainsaw itself (to keep using the berserk), and also not fall all the way down.

The only way to influence monster movement to reduce the chance of getting monsters stuck at the end, is by doing small changes to the route in the places where you stand, in each part of the map. One example is just after leaving the blufire building, I stand close to the lava, and shoot kill
2 cacodemons with the plasma. Killing those 2 cacos is not important. What is important is that you stand in that very position for 4-5 seconds to give time for the other cacodemons on the left to move towards you, and get "unstuck". Also, when fighting the Baron of Hell, try to do it in the left side of the building, to make the cacodemons outside circle the first building from the left side, and NOT go inside the door. If they do get in the door, they'll be stuck there until the end of the map, and the run will be dead. These route tricks were discovered by NightTerror, so props to him for these brilliant little tricks.

This 2m28 run was not only fast, it was also very lucky, and I don't believe it will be easy to beat. Still, there are a couple of mistakes in it, and I believe that without them, a time of 2m25 should be possible. Best of luck to whoever tries this (you'll need it!) :)
