Wrecked On RelicAAAAAAAGHH! Part 1: It's A Canon Event
24This VOD is the 1st part of my run on the special Lab seed for the Prehistoric Planet Pack for Oxygen Not Included! In this video, we start fresh and prepare for an imminent disaster! The Demolior asteroid is arriving ahead of schedule early on Cycle 11! We beeline for Insulated Tiles as soon as possible so that we can seal our base and prevent Magma and Molten Iron from pouring into it immediately. We also try and rescue whatever Water and plants that we can but sadly we leave a Lumb to fend for himself in the blast zone. After the asteroid lands, all 35 Geysers on our home asteroid erupt! It turns out there is a Magma Volcano right underneath the base... we'll deal with all of those Geysers once we get a proper food source established. Cycles 1-18 are in this video.
The aim of this run is for learn about the new DLC content so that we can see how it might fit into future base designs. We'll fill in the knowledge gaps from the previous test run, survive after the impact, and hopefully establish some good use cases for the powerful Iridium material we now have access to.
